As it approaches its third weekend, Haikyu!! continues to dominate the Japanese box office, breaking numerous records, finishing second only to the most recent Doraemon movie, and smashing the 5 billion yen mark. The movie is also preparing to give out more theatre gifts to Japanese viewers.

According to Kogyo Tsushin, as of March 3, the seventeenth day of the movie's release in theatres, the first Haikyu!! FINAL anime film had earned 5.1 billion yen (US$33.94 million), with 3.59 million tickets sold.Hello everyone! On the seventeenth day, FINAL's debut anime movie achieved the 5 billion yen mark, finishing in the same time frame as other well-known films like Code Blue, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween, all of which came in just short of 10 billion yen. Conversely, in just 17 days, Frozen earned 5 billion yen, making it the fourth highest-grossing movie in Japanese history.

The two Haikyu!! FINAL anime films will be produced by Toho Animation once again. The animation will be produced by the Production I.G team, which consists of Takahiro Chiba as chief animation director, Takahiro Kishida as character designer, and Susumu Mitsunaka as director and screenplay. On February 16, 2024, the first movie, titled "Gomisuteba no Kessen," was released in Japan. As of yet, no release date has been disclosed for the second movie.
From February 20, 2012, to July 20, 2020, Haikyu!! was published in Weekly Shonen Jump. All 402 chapters of the manga were compiled into 45 volumes. The Shinen Jump app offers all of the chapters in English.

Based on Haruichi Furudate's original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime that centres around Shoyo Hinata's passion for volleyball. In his final year of middle school, Hinata forms a volleyball team after being inspired by a small-statured professional volleyball player. Sadly, the team's first tournament matchup is against Tobio Kageyama's "King of the Court" squad, and they will undoubtedly lose. Following the humiliating loss, Hinata promises to outperform Kageyama. When Hinata joins the volleyball team after starting high school, she discovers that Tobio has already joined.
